Symphony for Success

WSP is a world-leading engineering and professional services consulting firm, dedicated to fostering innovation, developing talent, and investing in its people.

Having collaborated with WSP in the past for their Early Careers Conference and Nordic Leadership Event, we were ecstatic to join their inspiring Symphony for Success event that celebrated strategy, people, and culture. Over two days, WSP employees from across the country gathered in Downtown New Orleans, fully immersing themselves in the city’s rich culture—enjoying live jazz, savouring King Cake, and strengthening connections with colleagues

The conference was hosted by Lightbulb Teams founder, David Meade, who emceed the entire event, ensuring energy levels remained high and the schedule flowed seamlessly. There were some spectacular speakers: Adrian Gostick shared the power of culture at work, Kristen Hadeed showed the magic of thinking big, and Rolando Amaya wowed the audience to earn a standing ovation.

Watch below to see how we got on—and find out why David might have attended the best awards ceremony yet!

Water Works: A Life-Changing Team-Build

On day two, we introduced Water Works, our charitable team-building activity designed to empower teams while making a real-world impact. With Symphony for Success centered around strategy, people, and culture, this activity perfectly aligned with WSP’s values. Bringing attendees together for a hands-on experience with purpose.

In teams of 3-5, participants worked together to assemble life-saving water filters—that will be donated to Ugandan communities in need.

Access to clean water is a daily struggle in many regions of Uganda, where contaminated sources serve as breeding grounds for dangerous parasites. These conditions contribute to life-threatening illnesses, loss of sight, and, in extreme cases, fatalities.

But thanks to WSP’s incredible efforts, we’re proud to donate 70 water filters on their behalf! An impact that will provide safe drinking water for up to 21,000 people for years to come.

Beyond the incredible impact made, we’re so grateful to everyone who took the time to share their team-building experience with us—we love looking through the photos and reading your reviews!
