WSP Nordic Leaders Build 49 Prosthetic Hands in Stockholm

Lightbulb Teams had the pleasure of joining WSP for their Nordic Leaders Conference 2024.
WSP’s Nordic Conference 2024
Bringing together WSP leaders from four Nordic regions, the Unleashing Your Potential Conference was a celebration of growth, collaboration, and future strategy. With people at the heart of the event, our Give a Hand programme served as the perfect team-building challenge—sparking meaningful conversations and pushing participants to stretch their potential.
The Team-Build
Lightbulb Teams founder David Meade not only emceed and hosted the two-day conference, but also took to the stage to facilitate our Give a Hand programme.
David shared insights on leadership, emphasising that “perspective is everything”—how we interpret challenges, seize opportunities, and connect with others directly impacts the success of our teams and organisations. This concept, known in psychology as cognitive reframing, was a central theme of the session.
Inspired by this message, Nordic leaders worked together to build prosthetic hands from scratch—each one destined for someone they haven’t even met yet!

The Impact
Across the world, many individuals lose their limbs due to accidents, workplace injuries, or medical conditions. Thanks to the dedication of 200 WSP delegates, 49 prosthetic hands will now change lives, giving recipients the ability to dress, bathe, and eat independently for years to come.
