Lightbulb Teams’ newest, team building programme, ‘Toy for Life’, has been a natural evolution of the ‘Give a Hand’ and ‘Water Works’ programmes.
Upon visiting the communities where the water filters and prosthetic hands were distributed, the team saw first-hand the poverty experienced by local children with many of them playing with potentially harmful or dangerous materials.
How does the session run?
After a compelling keynote that we co-author with you, linking it directly to your own organisational and strategic goals, our team deliver toy kits to delegate tables. They’ll need to problem solve, coordinate, strategise, and focus on the end goal if they are to succeed in building a robust wooden toy.
- Instructions & equipment provided. Wooden toy kits billed separately.
- Takes 30-40 minutes to build a classic wooden toy.

Within a matter of weeks, the toys are quality checked and shipped to our charity partners who will organise distribution across schools and children’s hospitals in Uganda, Cambodia and India.
