WSP Early Career Program
Each year, WSP welcomes new graduates into its Early Career Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to support young professionals as they begin their journey with the company. The program opens with an annual conference that gathers new graduates from across the UK and ROI, to engage with WSP’s culture and values in a collaborative setting.
Having previously supported this event with our Give a Hand programme, Lightbulb Teams were delighted to return for another consecutive year. This time to deliver our CSR experience, Water Works.
Water Works
Water Works is designed to promote empathy and emotional intelligence, as teams work together to build a water filtration system for communities in Uganda.
WSP’s team-build kicked off with our founder and keynote speaker, David Meade, taking to the stage to inspire 270 graduates. He used several interactive energisers to get everyone on their feet, laughing and learning, before they broke into groups to build and decorate water filters.
The room was filled with trust, creativity, and support as groups collaborated to assemble 54 water filters! A remarkable achievement and lasting legacy, as each filter provides clean water for up to 300 people for two years. We will now donate WSP’s filters to Uganda on their behalf, helping individuals and families to drink and bathe safely.
This team-build perfectly reflected WSP’s values of empowering people to reach their full potential.
