This month, we had the privilege of partnering once again with the award-winning 180 Group to deliver our Water Works team-building programme for their pharmaceutical client.
Hosted at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida, the conference brought together more than 600 professionals. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to reflect on performance, realign their goals, and refocus on their global mission of improving lives – making our Water Works programme the perfect fit.
A Powerful Session
On day one, our Managing Director, David Meade, took to the stage to deliver his debut keynote – a powerful and inspiring session centred on belief. He shared why it’s so important to believe in yourself, believe in your team, and believe in what’s possible – even during changing, chaotic, and uncertain times.
Blending humour, insight, and interactive moments, he set the tone for a purpose-driven afternoon, where belief was brought to life through our Water Works programme.
The Water Works Team Build
During the CSR session, teams stepped outside their comfort zones – using blindfolds to fully immerse themselves in the challenge. Communication became key, as participants relied solely on verbal guidance from their team leaders to successfully build each filter.
By the end of the session, the room had collectively built an incredible 178 water filters! A remarkable achievement that will provide clean, safe drinking water for up to 53,400 people in Uganda for two full years, helping communities avoid illness from contamination.
