The world’s largest convention for event professionals, IMEX brings together more than 4,000 buyers and 3,300 global suppliers under one roof.  Allowing them to help build powerful working relationships, share best practice and reveal exciting new innovations in ways to bring events alive.

For a 5th year in a row, David Meade was delighted to be invited back to join the IMEX team, where he worked alongside DRPG and Maritz on their Experiences Stage. This stage was designed to showcase game-changing moments that can be delivered at events and truly create an impact.

Team-Building at IMEX

To fit the brief David delivered one of the Lightbulb team’s programmes, Give A Hand. This powerful initiative allows participants to make real clinical, prosthetic hands that are then donated in their company’s name.

Rather than a standard powerpoint presentation, this activity can be delivered within a standard conference environment. Teams and delegates can roll their sleeves up and get involved to create a clinical tool that will truly make life better for a patient in a developing country.

As the founder of Lightbulb Teams this is a real passion area for David and his team of facilitators travel all across the world to help people build kits that are then donated globally to those in need.

This event took place in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Vegas with the team building an impressive 24 kits on the day.

David said: “I need to pay huge thanks to DRPG and Maritz and also to IMEX for showcasing this incredible experience.

“Huge thanks also goes to all of the event professionals who joined us to help build a hand. The difference they have made is truly incalculable.”
