Lightbulb Teams partner with Northline Utilities for their Power of Presence conference in Syracuse, New York State.
Power of Presence
Northline Utilities is an electrical utility company based in New York State, serving customers across 26 states. With more than 20 years of experience, they pride themselves on powering communities near and far through a wide range of services.
Nathan Boutwell, VP at Northline Utilities, first experienced our Give a Hand programme at a NECA convention a few years ago. We were delighted that the experience stayed with him and ultimately led to the opportunity to work together again. This time with Northline Utilities.
Delegates travelled from across the country in Syracuse, New York, for their Power of Presence conference – a dedicated two-day event celebrating people, power and presence.
Give a Hand: Team Building
We joined Northline’s Power of Presence conference on the first night. The audience was warm, welcoming and ready to get involved. Our facilitator, Aaron took to the stage to re-energise everyone after their dinner buffet at the DoubleTree by Hilton.
Aaron shared powerful lessons on perspective and mindset, highlighting how changing the way we think can unlock incredible potential. This set the tone perfectly as teams opened their Give a Hand kits and began building prosthetic hands together.
Throughout the session, colleagues chatted, laughed and collaborated to construct prosthetic hands before decorating their protective cases. It was inspiring to see so much teamwork, problem solving and creativity in action.
Give a Hand: The Impact
That evening in Syracuse, Northline Utilities truly embodied their conference theme of Power of Presence. By coming together with purpose and being fully present throughout our team-build, they made a meaningful difference.
In total we will be donating 40 prosthetic hands on their behalf through our charity partner, LN4 – helping to restore independence and improve the lives of amputees around the world.
