Giving a Hand in Madrid

Lightbulb Teams travelled to Madrid to deliver our flagship programme, Give a Hand, in partnership LEF Marketing and Events.

Here at Lightbulb Teams, we have the pleasure of working with multiple event planning agencies who introduce us to wonderful teams around the world. And a great example of this is our relationship with LEF Marketing. Based in the Netherlands, LEF were tasked by a web based e-commerce client to plan an event in Madrid that would bring all their marketing professionals together to celebrate culture and reflect on consumption. That’s where we came in.
LEF Marketing asked us to bring one of our CSR team building programmes to their corporate agenda.
Given that Madrid is best known for its vibrant culture, and their web-based client wanted to celebrate culture, we knew our Give a Hand programme would be an ideal fit.
Give a Hand
Our facilitator Aaron, led our Give a Hand session and kicked things off with a card game energiser that got everyone off their feet and running around the table. It was a live metaphor for how teams can navigate obstacles regardless of communication and how they can celebrate each other in the process.
This set the tone for everyone to work together and begin assembling our Give a Hand prosthetics hand kits. A challenge like no other as it not only encourages team-work within the workplace, but promotes empathy outside of the day-to-day.
Thanks to the fantastic attitude from everyone in Madrid we walked away with 14 built prosthetic hands – 1 of which was an additional add on that day after the groups got swept up in the emotion behind it all.
Each of our kits are FDA-approved in the US, and we’re a proud member of the International Prosthetic Hands Team Building Association, (meaning are kits are built on quality).
