2025 Management Day
Clancy Construction is one of Irelandโs most respected building and engineering firms, built on partnerships and collaboration. Over the years, they have developed a strong reputation for their quality and their investment in people. So when they asked Lightbulb Teams to join their 2025 Management Day, we were more than delighted to be involved.
The event brought nearly two hundred people together at the gorgeous Mount Juliet Estate in Co. Kilkenny for a day of learning, connection, and ambition.
Collaborating with Clancy
From the very beginning, delegates filled the room with warmth and compassion, making us feel incredibly welcome.
The management day began with Clancyโs Managing Director, John OโShaughnessy, speaking about whatโs next for the company and the path theyโre shaping together. His words perfectly set the tone for our CSR session: Give a Hand.

To kick start the session, our founder and keynote speaker, David Meade, brought real energy to the room with a growth mindset keynote. He explored how small shifts in thinking can make significant improvements in both our personal lives and team culture. David explained that when we choose to embrace challenges and learn from setbacks, we stay curious, develop resilience, and build confidence! All transferable lessons that would soon be put to use during our interactive team-building activity.
Give a Hand
For Give a Hand, delegates worked together in their groups to assemble 25 prosthetic hands that would later be donated on their behalf to amputees in need. Each hand will offer life-changing possibilities for a child, enabling them to feed themselves, write at school, or complete other daily tasks we often take for granted.
The activity brought the companyโs motto of building in partnership to life in a meaningful and emotional way. It created moments of connection, teamwork, and shared purpose. And we can’t thank them enough, especially Gerry Duffy for making this partnership possible.
Clancy's 2025 Management Day
Construction isnโt only about buildings. Itโs about the people, purpose, and lasting impact. And Clancyโs Management Day proved exactly that!
