C&IT’s Festival of Forums
Conference & International Travel’s (C&IT) annual Festival of Forums brings together senior decision-makers from across the MICE industry—agency heads, corporate event planners, incentive travel specialists, association leaders, venues, destinations, and suppliers. And once again, Lightbulb Teams was right in the mix, proudly returning as a trusted supplier to spark connections, share ideas, and, of course, bring a little extra energy to the agenda.
This year’s event took place 28–30 July 2025, set against the vibrant backdrop of Newcastle upon Tyne. The three-day schedule was packed with inspiring sessions on topics like reimagining traditional spaces on a budget, wellness in the events industry, using AI for creative brainstorming, and CSR team-building.
CSR Team-Build
Lightbulb Teams were excited to deliver back-to-back Give a Hand workshops for 130 C&IT delegates to get stuck into. This wasn’t our first time showcasing our programmes at C&IT events, so we knew we’d be met with a warm welcome.
To kick things off, our Give a Hand team-build invited participants to work together to construct prosthetic clinical hands, which will later be fitted to amputees in need. It’s a powerful example of how collective action can make a tangible difference to people’s lives.

C&IT’s Impact
In addition to our CSR showcase, it was fantastic to connect with so many buyers and suppliers alike. Over the three days, our Client Success Manager Gary and Business Development Executive Bronagh had over 20 appointments—meeting one-on-one with like-minded individuals passionate about creating positive event experiences.
