In April 2025, the entire team at GCD gathered at Titanic Hotel Belfast for their annual All Hands Together event—a day dedicated to their people, tools, and processes. With this year’s theme of “No Limits” woven throughout the agenda, Lightbulb Teams were delighted to accept the invite to deliver our flagship team-building challenge: Give a Hand.
Give a Hand
Give a Hand is a CSR team-building experience that brings teams together to face challenges head-on while they build a real-life clinical prosthetic hand for amputees. Helping to restore independence to someone they haven’t met!
The session kicked off with our fantastic facilitator, Aaron, taking to the stage to energise the room ahead of the activity, and the GCD delegates didn’t disappoint! We were so impressed by the dedication and concentration on display at Titanic Hotel, Belfast as everyone lived our their company values.
CSR Impact
GCD may be known for building custom software, but during All Hands Together, they built something truly special: 13 prosthetic hands!
These hands will now be quality-checked before being distributed to amputees around the world, providing them with greater independence in daily life. A huge thank you to everyone involved on the day for embracing the challenge, strengthening collaboration and building a lasting legacy with us!
