Lightbulb Teams travel to Denver, Colorado, to deliver the Give a Hand team-building programme to over 600 participants.
An Empowering Audience
At Lightbulb Teams, we collaborate with industries worldwide—including construction, engineering, pharmaceuticals, finance, and insurance—to deliver impactful CSR programmes. No matter the field, we’re grateful to work with organisations that not only trust us with their events but also believe in the power of corporate social responsibility.
Our recent Give a Hand event in Denver, Colorado was no exception! We had the privilege of partnering with 180 Group to deliver an impactful team-building experience for their large pharmaceutical client. In an industry where individuals dedicate their careers to improving lives, this session was especially meaningful—it reflected their mission of helping others regain independence and well-being.
The Team Build
The session kicked off with an engaging keynote from Lightbulb Teams’ founder, David Meade. Through interactive discussions, David explored key mindset themes with the audience, sparking thought-provoking conversations and setting the stage for a truly collaborative experience. Participants then broke into teams for a hands-on challenge: assembling real-life prosthetic hands for amputees in need.
Give a Hand is a demanding yet deeply rewarding experience, fostering problem-solving, a growth mindset, and teamwork—all in service of a greater cause!
The Impact
The energy and dedication in the room was incredible! Thanks to their collective efforts, over 160 prosthetic hands will be donated to individuals worldwide through our charity partners, LN4. These life-changing devices will restore independence, empowering recipients to complete everyday tasks such as eating, dressing, and washing.
To date, more than 83,000 prosthetic hands have been donated through the Give a Hand programme. However, with a long waiting list still in place, every hand makes a difference. That’s why we are truly grateful to the Denver audience for taking time out of their busy schedules to create a lasting impact.
