Version 1 Employees Embrace WaterWorks

The team at Lightbulb were delighted to be asked to deliver one of our team build exercises at Version 1.
As a global software business leader, Version 1 has been helping shape the future for large public sector organisations and major global private brands for more than three decades.
A formidable force with a reputation for exceeding expectations, they really wanted to challenge and stretch their team to not only build their communication and collaboration skills but to make a difference at the same time. For this reason they chose Lightbulb’s Water Works programme as their team build of choice.
The Water Works programme enables ordinary people across the world to get involved in building and donating a life-changing water filtration system that can save the lives of an entire community. Every single water filter made provides clean, fresh, life-saving water for 300 people for at least two years! During Water Works, the majority of participants are blindfolded so their collaboration and communication skills need to be working at their absolute peak – this is what makes the programme so powerful and holds such a lasting impact.

The programme was a perfect fit for Vision 1’s strategy, mission, vision and values. Every aspect of the challenge was aligned to not only who they are today but where they’re going in the future. It was an amazing vehicle to help them build generosity and purpose into the work that they do every day.
