WSP Graduates Enjoy CSR Team Build

Published:

We travelled to Birmingham last month, to lead WSP graduates in a fun team-build exercise.

Over the past seven years we have built up a meaningful and fruitful relationship with WSP – and this was really amplified during the pandemic when we started producing a bespoke TV show for them called WSP TV.

When their teams were separated due to lockdown, WSP TV provided a fun outlet to bring everyone together to talk about; their purpose, who they are and what they do. Helping to find and maintain a sense of community during socially distant times.

Since then we’ve worked with WSP on countless, in-person events and we’re always impressed by their enthusiasm, camaraderie and support.

WSP’s Graduate Team-Build

The leading engineering and environmental professional services consulting firm takes the ethos stay curious, act locally and think internationally’. Which is just what the team did when they joined forces with us for our Give A Hand Programme.

The Give A Hand programme allows teams all across the world to build life-changing prosthetic hands that will improve the lives of someone that they haven’t even met yet. These hands will be donated to India, Uganda, Cambodia and Vietnam; and will be fitted on to children and adults who have lost their hand as a result of violent crime, congenital birth issues, electrocution and work place injuries.

Aaron delivered an entertaining session encouraged delegates to think big about their future and also their lasting legacy.

This was an amazing experience for WSP to invest in, particularly for their early career professionals! Not only is it a phenomenal way to show they believe in doing good things as a business, but doing good things in the world, too.

This is the second time we’ve worked with WSP on our CSR Give A Hand Programme and on this occasion, ten hands were built in total – meaning ten people will have their lives transformed for the better.

Commenting on the event Aaron said:

This was a fantastic day and the team really went above and beyond to deliver on the Give A Hand programme. There were a lot of laughs along the way and also moments of reflection and steely determination for the task at hand. A big thank you goes to WSP for their continued support.”
