With more than 60 years’ experience in the supply and manufacturing of plastic sheets, roof lights, plumbing and drainage products – Brett Martin is a global leader in its field. As a business it credits its success to a unique combination of great people, great products and a desire to go further on behalf of its customers around the world.
Here at Lightbulb Teams, we were delighted to be asked to facilitate a team-building exercise for some of its leadership team. Our Lightbulb facilitator Aaron led 23 participants through two of our popular CSR team building programmes, Water Works and Breaking News.
Taking place in The Mac, Belfast, the attendees came together as a team to successfully make five water filters which will provide clean drinking water for 1,500 people for two years. They approached the Breaking News activity with similar enthusiasm, rising to the challenge and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.
While the activities themselves were full of purpose, Aaron led the event with his usual energy and hilarity, providing plenty of laughs with his commentary along the way.
Commenting after the event Aaron said:
“The team at Brett Martin were a pleasure to work with. I think we all had a really enjoyable day while picking up some new skills along the way. Some of the Breaking News videos were genuinely hilarious and definitely deserve 10 out of 10 for effort.
“On a more serious note, myself and the team at Lightbulb would like to say a huge thank you to the participants for taking part in our Water Works programme. Every filter built provides safe water for 300 people for two years so they have made an absolutely huge difference and a huge impact and we cannot thank them enough.”
